Brand Lounge appoints Yousef Tuqan Tuqan as Chief Growth Officer to lead next era of growth
As Brand Lounge enters its 20th year, Yousef Tuqan Tuqan joins the leadership team to help take our brand philosophy, growth and impact further.

Twenty years into Brand Lounge, the question is no longer simply how we grow. It is how we take what we have built further.
As we enter this next chapter, we are pleased to welcome Yousef Tuqan Tuqan as Chief Growth Officer, joining our leadership team to lead business growth, deepen client partnerships and create new opportunities for Brand Lounge and the organizations we work with.
Founded in the UAE in 2006, Brand Lounge has grown from its Dubai roots into an independent regional consultancy with a presence in Saudi Arabia and Lebanon, and a body of work that extends across international markets.
That growth has also changed what Brand Lounge is capable of doing.
Today, our work extends across four interconnected practices - Strategy & Insights, Design & Creative Impact, People & Culture, and Innovation & Experiences built around the same belief that has shaped the consultancy from the beginning: meaningful differentiation creates meaningful business impact.
Yousef joins us with 30 years of experience across brand, marketing and innovation in the region and beyond. He was CEO of Flip Media, growing it into one of the region’s leading digital agencies before its acquisition by Publicis Groupe in 2012, and his career has included senior roles at Careem, Leo Burnett, Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts and Accenture Song in the UK. That combination of agency, client-side and consulting experience gives Tuqan a rare perspective on how brands and businesses are built, strengthened by his more recent work advising founders and leadership teams on strategy, positioning and culture.
As Chief Growth Officer, Yousef will help strengthen and evolve Brand Lounge’s core philosophy and methodology, building on the foundations that have shaped the consultancy over the past two decades while creating new opportunities for how that thinking can grow. This includes deepening existing partnerships, building new ones, and extending Brand Lounge’s network and reach into an even broader global ecosystem around its proprietary approach to brand.
That growth will also be driven through the continued evolution of Brand Lounge’s Hybrid Engine Model, bringing together the depth of its expert-led Human Engine with the scale and possibilities of its AI-enabled Intelligence Engine.
On the Human Engine side, this means continuing to build the consultancy’s four practices while expanding the platforms around them: BL People, which bridges internal culture and business performance through brand value; BL Academy, which brings Brand Lounge’s philosophy and methodology into the market through learning, knowledge-sharing and partner education; and the continued development of its innovation capabilities as new opportunities emerge.
Alongside this, the Intelligence Engine will continue to develop new ways of diagnosing, building and growing brands through technology, proprietary tools and new methodologies - including Rapid Audit, BL Index and MaxOS, with further innovations to follow.
For Yousef, the opportunity reflects a shared view of what brand should contribute to a business.
“I’ve admired Brand Lounge for a long time because it treats brand as a business decision, not a design exercise,” he says. “The companies that are shaping the region’s next decade need brands that are genuinely distinct in their purpose, their culture, their image and the way they innovate. Helping more of them get there is exactly the work I want to be doing.”
As Brand Lounge moves into its third decade, growth is not simply about doing more.
It is about taking the work, thinking and impact behind Brands That Matter further.
