Brand Lounge's approach to brand strategy in complex, high-stakes sectors begins with purpose. For Hayat Biotech, the brand needed to earn trust before it could claim authority. Through collaborative workshops in Abu Dhabi, we engaged key stakeholders to define a brand purpose that would serve as the organizing principle for everything that followed: Challenging the barriers of science to reimagine the future of life.
Our approach to creating a differentiated purpose statement is led by Brand Lounge’s proprietary framework built on ‘contribution’ and’ impact’. The contribution is rooted in the ‘what’, whereas the impact is rooted in the bigger ‘why’.

The strategic framework was built on four values designed to express a genuine challenger mindset — one that could resonate with scientific communities, government bodies, and the public simultaneously:

The Solution
The brand was anchored by the positioning descriptor Your Partner in Science + Life — a statement that balanced clinical expertise with human impact. The visual identity was built around the Window emblem, a 13° tilted intersection that expressed the challenger mindset through form. Biotech Blue and Eco Jade created a color system that held both scientific rigour and natural care in balance.

Trilingual logotypes in English, Arabic, and Mandarin reflected the cultural depth of the Chinese-Emirati partnership at the heart of the organization.
